Purchase a Limited Edition Giclée of this painting

Flowers For Mom was a drawing that I did quite a few years back of my youngest son Jonah, who is in the front. The child in the background who is laughing and has his mouth open is my other son, Justin, and the other two were friends.

Jonah used to bring me home ratty flowers and weeds and I would place these in water. He saw the beauty in them, he thought he was doing something good, and he was always trying to do the right thing to please me, despite being teased by his brother, who was always calling him a momma's boy. He didn’t care, he still did what he thought he needed to do, and you can see in the background the moon peeking from behind the clouds. Amost watching over him regardless of the teasing, the moon is like a reminder that he is protected, no matter what, and he is always safe. Regardless of who he is, he is loved.
