Summer Moon
A summer's night on Vancouver Island is lush with beautiful light, the smells and sounds of forest, and occasionally a bright moon shining in an early evening sky. In a peaceful serenity, I'm sure this buck enjoys the evening as much as I do, and as his ancestors have for probably thousands of years. |

This image was inspired by the vibrant, unspoiled alpine meadows around Strathcona Park, on Central Vancouver Island, which is not far from where I grew up in Errington, BC.
