Eagle Feather

Eagle Feather

Eagle Feather is a painting of a golden eagle with some feathers around the border of the image.

The feather in the First Nations culture represents medicine. It is used to give a communicator a chance to talk when you pass the feather from one person to another. There is to be no interrupting until that person passes the feather back, so it is a way of communicating and is also used for healing purposes.

The feather has always been a very important part of the native culture across Canada.
