Inukshuk

While researching the Inuit Nation, I discovered many beautiful colors and landscapes that gave me the opportunity to use different shades and tones for this painting. The Inuit people are similar to Native people on Vancouver Island and struggle with the same issues.

Inukshuk

The Inuit language has been introduced into their educational curriculum. Many of the towns are alcohol and drug free but, with the cultural and environmental changes they face, it leaves many people in search of a better life spiritually and mentally. I have a lot of respect for these people, our brothers and sisters of the North.
